POETRY – RHYME

Wutan Way:

The path of a master, lit by his sons,
To follow at will, not easy but sure.
Prowess and health, attained by the ones,
With discipline and truth, patience and more.

Training each day, so much to learn,
Skill to achieve, techniques so fine.
Philosophy of life, medicine to turn,
Yin into yang, vice versa the sign.

Complete martial artist, goal of the school,
Control of the body, mind, spirit and soul.
A progression of styles, never dogma the rule,
A student at one, with teacher the goal.

A genre for each, age of our life,
State of our health, in body and mind.
Discernible stages, in trouble and strife,
Cathartic progression, a spiritual find.

The internal arts, old secrets to reveal,
Most sacred for ages, families did keep.
Only for royal, patronage did kneel,
To humbly teach, knowledge so deep.

Chi kung breathing, energy quintessence,
Pa kua sequence, trance circle dance.
Tai chi Ch’uan, in counter defense,
Hsing I heel power, irresistible advance.

Final student lesson, teacher to become,
Expansion of our school, unity for all.
Growing happy family, moving as one,
Humble and proud, healthy and tall.
