POETRY – RHYME

Packing for Paradise:

Packing for paradise, what a tedious chore,
Cutting umbilical, maternal cord and more.
Heightened experience coming to the fore,
Of lessons unlearnt, reinforced all for sure.

No help but hindrance, contrary to the end,
Tedious but solid, consistent no bend.
Itchen valley water, privatization trend,
Esso Fawley products, water table rend.

Goodbye Hampshire hog, my mosh buddy mate,
Thanks for nothin’, you shouldn’t have, don’t wait.
See you much later, I wish it our fate,
To part I hope forever, no return, no date.

Pollution or collective, sub-conscious grey,
Genetic John Brown, Anglo-Saxon way.
Sacred valley sunshine, in Southampton bay,
Overflowing benevolence, that’ll be the day.
