POETRY – RHYME


Proto Step:

A venture in paradise, ready to go,
Nine months training, pure energy flow.
Daily reflection planning, all loose ends tied,
Wisdom cycle ended, afloat by my guide.

So much to resolve, life’s daily pile,
Day of departure, delayed for a while.
But finally I leave, on the second of July
Sealed and complete, but things go awry.

Over long journey, early morning start,
Late evening arrival, dawn to dusk dart.
Taxi bandido ritual, no reception there,
Tired and dejected, life without care.

Cash missing episode, unprecedented surprise,
Bank transfer anomaly, mistaken bad surmise.
Destitute in paradise, casual indifference,
Hospitality reliance, no independence.

No planning or training, for centre inception,
Days slide by, without correction,
My dream is fading, with much frustration,
To utilize my experience, for the coming generation.
