POETRY - RHYME

Poles Apart:

Duality in time, an assemblance of mind,
Into Light and the Dark, opposing poles to unwind.
Now Yin and the Yang, Confucian Tai chi Chu’an.
By soft and the hard, control of the bard.
Into right and the wrong, our theme and our song.
From Castor and Pollux, to row without,
Greek and demi Celt, below and above belt.
Fine mind and great sport, contradiction the retort.
The mystic and the occult, a blinded unison the result.
Of material and spirit, the unity inherent.
